Have you ever been told that the logo file you provided the magazine/screen printer/online advertiser was wrong?

I have worked directly with small business owners for a few years now and I also design ads for a few publications – I see this issue all the time. This is how the scenario usually goes: You are excited to wrap up the logo with your graphic designer. They send you a bunch of files (some you have never heard of before) and an invoice. You can’t open most of them. You’re not really sure what the files do and you don’t have time to be bothered with figuring it out. And why should you? That is what you paid a graphic designer for. Am I right?
